Yiannis Mourgis is Head of AI at Yodeck, a digital signage platform that lets users easily manage multiple screens from a single app. Yiannis joined Yodeck in 2019 as its first marketing employee and helped grow it from a small Greek startup into the global leader in its industry. Recently he took on Yodeck's initiative to become an AI-first company. He builds the company's AI culture, sets the AI policies, rolls out AI tools and runs an AI Champions Program that trains people across departments. His motto is "AI is not the goal. Impact is." His ambition is to use AI to remove the company's biggest bottlenecks and find new ways to create value, helping Yodeck grow another 10x in the next five years. Yiannis holds a BBA from the Athens University of Economics and Business and a Master's from the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies (Italy). He is also an alumnus of Singularity University's Graduate Studies Program (USA). Every November he heads back to Kalamata to pick olives. AI can't harvest his olives yet, but he hopes a robot will come to the rescue one day.
