Dr. Sotirios Dimopoulos is Senior Manager of AI and Data Science at Hewlett Packard, where he leads global initiatives in Generative AI for HP’s e-commerce ecosystem. With more than two decades of experience at the intersection of technology, business, and research, he has helped organizations translate complex data challenges into scalable, AI-driven solutions. He has a background in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and holds a PhD from ETH Zurich. Previously he worked at KPMG Switzerland, delivering data analytics projects across retail, finance, and the non-profit sectors. Sotirios is passionate about building teams that bridge innovation and impact. Beyond work, he is a father of two and enjoys basketball, skiing and cycling.

“SOPHI: GenAI applications Powering the HP Store Experience“

The presentation outlines SOPHI, an umbrella of GenAI applications designed to enhance this experience in the HP Store website by helping visitors find relevant products and information and by enabling HP agents to serve customers more efficiently. We will also examine key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics across usage, quality, as well as measurable improvements in conversion rates and revenue per visitor. Moreover, we will discuss the implications and general dependencies on building such applications in a F100 company. Finally, we will close with future developments and strategic directions for GenAI within HP’s e-commerce ecosystem.
