Dr. Panagiotis Gouvas is Co-Founder and R&D Director of UBITECH, a European software engineering and AI research company headquartered in Greece. For two decades he has led UBITECH’s research and technology agenda, steering the delivery of large-scale, complex projects and the design of the company’s product lines, from secure computing platforms to Generative and Agentic AI solutions. He has been at the engineering core of mAigov and mAiGreece, among Europe’s first national-scale LLM-based digital assistants, and of GAIA, UBITECH’s co-development glassbox platform for building transparent, governable enterprise AI. His teams also deliver agentic business-process execution, LLM-fueled legal and cyber intelligence, and autonomous LLM-driven red teaming for critical infrastructure. Working at the intersection of GenAI, DevSecOps, distributed computing and digital security, he focuses on moving AI agents from prototype to secure, production-grade deployment at scale. A returning GenAI Summit speaker, Dr. Gouvas holds a PhD in autonomic computing and service provisioning in mesh environments from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA).
