Megaklis Vasilakis is Co-founder and CEO of SquareDev, an AI and data solutions company, where he leads at the intersection of business, technology and science. He helps organisations make data-driven decisions and navigate digital transformation, translating AI research and engineering into solutions that deliver tangible value. With a background in computer science and now studies in business, he is equally at home in strategy and in technology. He is an author and advocate of open source, and has written on Explainable AI, European AI regulation and building applications with large language models. A regular voice in the Greek AI ecosystem, he has spoken at events including TEDxPatras, appeared in podcasts and interviews, and organises AI meetups in Patras. He combines hands-on engineering with business leadership to turn AI into reliable, explainable products.
