Maria Glypti is a graduate of National and Kapodistrian University of Athens at the School of Philosophy in the Faculty of Philosophy, Pedagogy and Psychology and majored in Psychology. She holds a master's degree from the University of Western Macedonia and the Hellenic Open University in Creative Writing.

She has been teaching Greek Language and Literature courses to high school students for over 20 years. She has attended training related to the above subjects and has taken part in various programs, including Health, Cultural, Environmental, Gender Equality Education as well as e-Twinning, The Tipping Point, Dive in Dialogue projects
