Kostas Karolemeas is the architect and tech lead of Gaia, UBITECH’s enterprise platform for building transparent, governable AI applications. He led its development from concept to production, shaping the architecture and driving the delivery of AI-powered solutions across industries. Gaia combines dynamic UI generation, multi-agent orchestration, and real-time evaluation—empowering safe, collaborative innovation at scale. He also spearheaded the creation of the first legal AI assistant for the Greek Cadastre (land registry)—a pioneering generative AI deployment in the public sector. Previously, Kostas founded AllCanCode, a low-code development platform, and Evorad, an advanced medical imaging system for radiologists. He has held senior roles in software architecture and engineering across healthcare, banking, logistics, and manufacturing. His research in medical imaging has been published internationally, and he holds an MBA in Project Management and a BS in Computer Science.
