Elena Pittarokoili is a data and education technology professional passionate about advancing human learning through AI. She is currently part of the Human Data team at OpenAI, where she helps design and evaluate datasets used to train and measure the capabilities of frontier models.Elena holds an M.S. in Education Data Science from Stanford University (GPA 4.0) as an Onassis Foundation Scholar, with a focus on causal inference, NLP, and experimental design. Prior to OpenAI, she worked at Age of Learning, leading data initiatives that enhanced adaptive learning products for over 200,000 students across the U.S.She has also contributed to research at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and Stanford Digital Education, and currently serves on the organizing team of the GenAI Summit Southeast Europe.
