Prof. Christos Tarantilis has over 20 years of experience in leadership positions across various roles and environments: in academia, serving as a professor and chair of the Department of Management Science and Technology at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB); in politics, as a Member of Parliament, a Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister, and the Head of the Hellenic Parliament’s Committee on Research and Technology; and in the private sector, as a Partner and the Europe Central Government and Infrastructure South Business Unit Leader at EY. He has also been a member of the boards of directors of several significant Greek organizations. Furthermore, he has been included for the past six years in the annual list recognizing the top 2% of the most influential scientists worldwide in the field of operations research, compiled by professors at Stanford University. Moreover, Prof. Tarantilis has received more than 30 teaching awards at AUEB over a period of 10 consecutive years, at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
