Artemis Seaford

Artemis Seaford is a Product Policy Manager at Open AI where she works on identifying and mitigating safety risks associated with the company’s new products and developing policies for developers and end users. Previously, Artemis Seaford was a Public Policy Manager for Meta, where she led global policy efforts to address novel adversarial threats.

Before working in the tech industry, Artemis worked on migration and refugee policy in various roles in government, philanthropy and non-profits. She is trained as a lawyer, having clerked for the Rwanda Supreme Court and worked on anti-trust matters in Washington, DC. She started her career as a management consultant, first with Oliver Wyman and then McKinsey.

Her writings have appeared in various publications including Foreign Affairs and the American Interest. She holds a J.D./ Ph.D. in Political Science from Stanford, an M.P.P. from Harvard Kennedy School, and a double first-class B.A. in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from Oxford.
