Anastasios Andronidis is a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Tools for Humanity (TFH), where he is the organization’s most senior engineer. He leads the Avengers, a special task force responsible for tackling the company’s most complex and urgent technical challenges. Anastasios holds a Ph.D. from Imperial College London, where he specialized in software reliability, fuzzing, and binary rewriting. He began his career at CERN in Switzerland, spending approximately four years working on high-performance computing, cloud computing, and grid infrastructure. During his studies, he gained experience at leading technology organizations, including Box, Microsoft Research, Google, and Facebook, working across cloud security, AI for medical imaging, distributed systems, and debugger development. In 2018, Anastasios founded Experoment, a London-based startup focused on democratizing drug discovery research. This entrepreneurial experience deepened his expertise in business strategy and computational biology. Beyond his engineering work, Anastasios is an angel investor in more than 20 startups and a limited partner in venture capital funds across Greece, the United Kingdom, and the United States. Through these investments, he actively supports founders and the broader startup ecosystem.
