Amalia Konstantakopoulou
Co - founder & Director @ NGO “The Tipping Point”
Since 2016, Amalia Konstantakopoulou has been the Founding Member and Director of The Tipping Point (TTP), a non-profit organization that empowers young people to consciously make their most critical decisions, while preparing them for the workplace of tomorrow, through exposure to role models, experiential learning and building competences for their future including GenAI skills. Under her leadership, TTP has grown from 5 to over 1,000 schools even in the most underprivileged schools and learning communities in the country, reaching 80,000+ students and 3,000+ educators nationwide, while strategically enabling them to become familiar with GenAI and enhance the teaching practice.
Earlier in her career, Amalia worked extensively in strategic communications and marketing for companies and organizations, such as UPS, Nestle, MTVGR, Swarovski, the Greek National Tourism Organization and ministries, as well as a Fashion Week communications consultant, having thus collaborated with both Greek and foreign designers during the Athens, Moscow & New York Fashion Weeks. She completed her studies in Economics (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens), where she also served as a teaching assistant for the “Applications of Informatics in Economics” course. She holds an MBA from the National Technical University of Athens, is an alumna of the U.S. Department of State’s IVLP Program and serves as Greece's Local Engagement Coordinator for the U.S. Department of State’s “TechGirls” Program.
