Dr. Alexandros Papaspyridis has 25 years of experience in global business development in Information and Communications Technologies combining deep insights of technology and how to strategically deploy them in an organization.

He is the Managing Partner of Nefos Consulting LLC, a technology consultancy company advising scaleups and startups on Go-To-Market strategy, hyperscaler partnerships and the strategic use of AI. Prior to that, he was 15 years at Microsoft, where he held several leadership positions in Asia Pacific and EMEA, including as the Worldwide Director for Azure, Data & AI Solutions in Education and Higher Education Director for Asia Pacific.

Dr. Papaspyridis holds a PhD in Electronics Engineering, a Master’s in Management and a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering from Imperial College, London. He also holds the Microsoft Professional Program certificate in Artificial Intelligence.

He is a member of the Advisory Boards at Phaistos 5G VC; the Centre on AI Technology for Humankind at the National University of Singapore Business School; the Departments of Computing and Electrical Engineering at Imperial College and Safesize, Greece. He is a recognized thought leader that has published several papers in education, artificial intelligence and innovation and he is a regular keynote speaker.
