Alexandros Georgakopoulos is a Senior Data Scientist at Kaizen Gaming, where he builds LLM-powered applications end to end, combining rigorous data science with production-grade AI engineering. Previously, he served as Director of Data Science & AI at AETHON Engineering, where he led a team delivering EU-funded and proprietary ML and GenAI projects from architecture design through to production, and drove the technical work behind the first-place entry in the 2023 HEDNO Datathon. Alexandros studied Applied Mathematics and Physical Sciences at the National Technical University of Athens and holds an M.Sc. in Pure Mathematics from the University of Athens. He went on to the University of Michigan, where he earned an M.Sc. in Applied Mathematics and became a PhD candidate in Pure Mathematics, conducting research in probability theory and complex analysis before leaving the program to pivot to AI.
