Lina Filippaki

Economist & Highschool Teacher @ 4th General High School of Rhodes

Lina Filippaki is an educator at the 4th General High School of Rhodes. She is the General Secretary of the Research and Innovation Council of the South Aegean Region and of the Rhodes branch of the Hellenic Cancer Society, and also a member of the Council of the House of Europe in Rhodes and the Culture Committee of the Stamatios Charitable Foundation, as well as the Lean in Rhodes team. She is part of the editorial team of the scientific journal  Xenophon, focusing on economics in secondary education. She has served as an elected member of the Administrative Board of the Dodecanese Regional Department of the Economic Chamber of Greece.

She is on the organizing committee of TEDx Rhodes and TEDx Rhodes Youth, and the International Conference Rhodes MRC - Simulation of International Regional Organizations. She participates as a facilitator in international symposia that promote cooperation among youth from different countries. She is actively involved in designing and implementing Erasmus programs and has collaborated with partners from many European countries. She has participated in international conferences with presentations.

She studied Business Administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business, and Preschool Education and Educational Planning at the University of the Aegean. She holds a Master's degree in Environmental Education. She speaks English and Italian.

She has teaching experience in post-secondary education (Public IEK Rhodes and Private IEK ANKO) as well as in tertiary education (Higher School of Tourism Professions of Rhodes). She has completed annual seminars in asynchronous education and prevention of youth addiction to the internet, school unit management, and adolescent counseling.

She has organized and taught adult seminars as a certified trainer, focusing on Business Administration, Marketing, Business Communication, Public Relations, Entrepreneurship, and more.

She has developed more than 30 educational-experiential programs in collaboration with local, national, and international organizations, starting from the interests of children.
