Dimitrios Georgiou

Dimitrios is part of the Strategy & Transactions Advisory division at Deloitte, specializing in Travel & Hospitality, and serves on the Board of Directors of the Onassis Scholars' Association. In recent years, he has contributed to a wide range of projects; from innovative local destination activations and UNWTO Gen-Z research to the development of sustainable tourism strategies and investment plans. His work has been recognized through distinctions such as the national Charlemagne Youth Prize (European Parliament, 2025) and participation in delegations including the World Bank Group Youth Summit (2023). Previously, he held roles at organizations such as SPDI (real estate fund), the European Central Bank, and the Greek National Tourism Organization. He also founded Dishcover, a Forbes 30u30 (GR)-featured traveltech startup. Alongside his advisory work, he frequently volunteers as a mentor in schools and innovation initiatives, and has recently created one of the largest private archives of historical Greece-related menus. Dimitrios holds an MPhil in Finance from the University of Cambridge and a BA in Accounting and Finance from the Athens University of Economics and Business, where he graduated as valedictorian.
