Anna Stefanidou
Head of Digital Learning @ Athens College
Anna Stefanidou is an educator, strategist, and digital innovation leader specializing in the strategic integration of generative AI across all levels of teaching and learning. Her work bridges curriculum, technology, and policy to ensure impactful, ethical, and inclusive digital practices. At Athens College, she leads the adoption of GenAI tools in school administration workflows, designs professional development programs for management and administrative staff, and oversees the production of teaching publications. With more than 20 years of experience in developing online educational programs across K–12, higher education, and lifelong learning, Anna’s practice combines pedagogical depth with technological foresight. She teaches Bioclimatic Architecture and Architectural Design to high school students and is a certified animal-mediated educator, offering dog-mediated sessions that support learners facing challenges such as learning difficulties or school adaptation. Anna has been exploring the integration of information technology into everyday life since 2000, for her Doctor of Design studies at Harvard. Her research examined how internet access reshapes space and social interaction, culminating in the dissertation “Internet Access in Public Places – Transforming Space and Social Interaction.”
